Concept
The dragon fish symbolizes nobility and splendor. Its clearly layered scales are bright and dazzling, like an emperor's armor, making it look like the supreme ruler. The golden dragon fish is the king of all dragon fish and is particularly noble. This time the theme is golden arowana, matched with a royal blue background and gold sprinkling technique, making the painting look rich and prosperous. I believe it will surely bring together wealth from all directions for the collector and make his career flourish.

About the artist
Kevin Tseng
Kevin Tseng uses oil painting and watercolor to express the local culture and customs of Taiwan. Instead of soft brushes, he employs sturdy palette knives, layering thick and vibrant oil paints. He incorporates the blending techniques of gongbi painting, ingeniously fusing two seemingly unrelated media to create a novel form of expression.
From 2021, due to the impact of the pandemic, his creative direction underwent a significant change. The fragility and impermanence of life suddenly seemed to come very close to us. The continuation and cherishing of emotions gradually became evident in his works. He began focusing on themes of mother-child and father-child affection among animals, projecting these onto human emotional connections.
The delicate layering of paint highlights light, shadow, and texture, while the rich color combinations imbue the paintings with a wild vitality. His artworks now emphasize the continuation and preciousness of emotional bonds, reflecting the closer proximity we've felt to life's fragility and unpredictability in recent times.
Kevin Tseng's works are not just images on a canvas; they are an expression of emotion. He combines his feelings with his brush, using the language of art to convey the depth and richness of life. His paintings serve as a window, allowing viewers to gain a deeper understanding of the diversity of the world and the continuity of emotions.
